The Carriage House Inn is AAA Four-Diamond rated, with thirteen romantic rooms. All rooms have one king size bed, wood burning fireplace, down comforters, down pillows, remote color televisions with radios and alarm clocks built in and refrigerators. All bathrooms offer either a Jacuzzi tub or deep soaking tub. Upstairs rooms have cathedral ceilings. Complimentary wine and cheese is served each evening along with complimentary espresso and cappuccino service. There is even an evening turn down service. Continental Breakfast is served to your room with the morning paper. There are NO Cribs or Rollaways available at Carriage House Inn.
Room #1 is a beautiful suite. It offers a parlor with a single sofa bed and an adjoining bedroom with one queen size bed, game table, and writing desk. Both areas have a fireplace and television. The bathroom has a single whirlpool tub.
Room #3 is recommended for honeymoons and other special occasions. It offers a larger upstairs room with one king size bed and a wood burning fireplace. The bathroom area has an oversize whirlpool tub and separate shower.

This picturesque Inn is built in the Monterey Colonial-style with contemporary interiors in soft blue and rose colors. Rooms have a king bed or two double beds and many have a gas-burning fireplace. In addition, there are two suites, one with a whirlpool tub and a kitchenette, and a family unit with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. All rooms have a refrigerator, a drip coffee maker with a supply of coffee and tea, a remote color television with built-in radio and alarm clock. The room rates include a picnic basket breakfast brought right to your door, with the morning paper. The Inn has a heated pool with lots of deck area for lounging and soaking up some sun. Located in the center of the village and close to Sunset Center, this Carmel Comstock brick structure with a Colonial Williamsburg decor is easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and galleries. Many of the rooms are mini-suites with a living room and wood-burning fireplace, separate bedroom and a full kitchen. These units are ideal for families or extended stays. There is also a family suite with two queen beds and a fireplace in one bedroom and a king bed in the other bedroom, plus two bathrooms and a kitchen. All rooms have a refrigerator, a drip coffee maker with supplies of coffee and tea, a remote color television, and clock radio. Built by Lars Svendsgaard in the mid 1950's, the Inn is of ranch- style architecture built in a U-shape around a garden courtyard and heated swimming pool. Rooms are decorated in a country decor, with gas fire-places and kitchenettes available in many rooms. Two suites and one family unit overlook the garden area. The family unit has two bedrooms and a kitchenette. Each room has a small refrigerator, stocked with coffee and tea, a drip coffee maker, a remote color television and a clock radio. Our lovely new Lars Suite with king bed, wood stove, entertainment center (VCR & CD Player) and full size jacuzzi tub will delight couples seeking a romantic interlude. A picnic- basket breakfast and the morning newspaper will be delivered to your door each morning.

The English Tudor-style building is decorated in traditional Carmel style. The inn is very quaint, quiet and landscaped with roses. We have plenty of off-street parking and a small swimming pool. Rooms have either one king bed or two double beds plus a love seat size sofa hide-a-bed. Many of the rooms have wood-burning fireplaces and a full kitchen. A two-bedroom family unit offers a total of three double beds plus the hide-a-bed, providing a great room for families. For that romantic get-away we have a new jacuzzi suite with king bed and fireplace... perfect for a special occasion. Rates include a picnic basket continental breakfast delivered to the room along with the morning paper. Rooms have remote color televisions, refrigerators, and drip coffee makers with all the coffee and tea supplies. The inn is two and a half blocks off Ocean Avenue, right in the heart of the village. The staff takes great delight in providing extra services such as ordering flowers or champagne, helping to plan birthdays and other special occasions, as well as making information and directions readily available.
